Balligomingo is the new electronic/vocal musical project of producer/programmer, Garrett Schwarz and co-producer/guitarist, Vic Levak. My favorite song is "Falling" featuring vocals by Beverly Staunton and Jody Quine vocals on "Purify". Balligomingo combine pulsating rhythms, sonic string textures, synth vibes, and some of the best female vocalists.

- Macau's name is derived from A-Ma-Gau or Place of A-Ma and this temple dedicated to the seafarers' goddess dates from the early 16th century.

My favorite tunes are "That Easy" from her "Restless Times" Album, "Maybe Now" from the Belle et Far soundtrack album, "Silent Distance" original and a I:Cube remix of the song, "I Got Somebody New" a Georg Levin song she is featured on and "Paper Chase" with Vikter Duplaix from "All I Can Provide" album. Her music is a mix of Electronic R&B that is both creative in its electronic music production as well as the vocal tracks. Vikter's vocal duet with Clara are sulty and sexy with a great electronic dance beat in the background. It is a tune you just have to groove and shake it.

I found this artist in one of my wild searches on iTunes. My two favorite songs are "June" and "Ceylon". The only distraction on her 2005 album "Madita" is the songs included some electronic effects in the background that took away from her vocal performance. On her website she has given us a peek at a tune from her forthcoming album called "Karma". Bebel Gilberto
Her music has been remixed by the top international dance and electronic producers. Albums in my collections are Bebel Gilberto, Momento, Tanto Tempo. A previously a unavailable recording of "Up, Up and Away is now available on iTunes. Her music is a blend of Samba, Pop, Bossa, and Electronica. One of my favorite remixes from Thievery Corporation is a song by her mother Astrud Gilberto, "Who Needs Forever". I was excited to hear Thievery Corporation do a remix of Bebel's "Cada Beijo". I love listen to them back to back from mother to daughter mix by one of my favorite electronica bands. Another group of remixes I enjoy is Simplesmente Tom Middleton's Cosmos Mix and Latin Project Bebel's Aganju".

S-Tone Inc
Is the main musical project of Stefano Tirone, a musician from Milan, Italy who has been working in world music for twenty years. The first S-Tone record was released in 1996 name "Love Unlimited" and "Ainda sonhar" was the first example of nu bossa style. It is this nu bossa style of muisc that turned me onto his music. My other iTune downloads of his are "Con Mi Sombra", Verao and Hanging On The Moon. The songtress on "Ainda sonhar" is Laura Fedele a well know singer in the Milan Jazz scene. in 2004 he wrote and produced "Luzy y Sombra". Vocal guest on this album include Laura Fedele, Toco, Manuela Ravagllol, Adi Souza, Angie Brown and Luciana Cury from Soa Paulo.

Tori Amos - The BeeKeeper
I think Tori Amos is one of the most talented musical artist today and she does not disappoint us with her new album, "The Beekeeper". I look forward to her live performances and will enjoy this new music as well as her classics. If I had to pick my favorite on this album it would be Parasol, Cars and Guitar's and Marys of the Sea. The song Parasol has a warm and familiar Tori riff. I will say her live performances are a musical event. The stage is where she really gets to express herself more. Some artist have their recording altered by technology and are a big disappointment live. I can say without a doubt her voice and musical prowess as a player is outstanding. I loved that fact that on this album she has started to expand her musical taste and added some flavor. Like other great artist before her like Joni Mitchell, it is a welcome to see her grow from album to album. It is like tuning a guitar that already is finely tuned.
